Perry Nicholls World Class Business Model

Perry Nicholls consultants have developed a "World Class" Business Model as a framework for understanding the key factors in the long-term success of organisations.

The "World Class" Business Model provides a practical means of assessing an organisation's performance using quantifiable measures and enables operational and management improvements to be designed and prioritised.

A "World Class" organisation can be defined as:

an organisation that adopts management policies, programmes, procedures and attitudes that result, on a long-term basis, in:
the overall satisfaction of 90% of customer expectations, and
performance in processes critical to the success of the business, equal to at least 90% of the level of the best practices in the world".

Management policies, procedures and attitudes are the drivers that determine whether an organisation achieves, and maintains, "World Class" performance. They are measured along six principal dimensions. The relative importance of each dimension is given by the length of each line.

Each principal dimension consists of many sub-categories.
